Part of what makes Oakhill Day School unique is the amount of parent participation. Parents at Oakhill are committed to encouraging and supporting the mission of the school. All parents are members of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  Dues paid for each child make up the budget of the PTO and provide us with the resources to provide offer events to help families connect with one another, to support the educational programs of the school and to provide purchase resources for our school administration, faculty and staff.

Parents volunteer their time and energy to perform many tasks which provide both social and educational benefits to our children. PTO members quickly find how best to use their talents to help make Oakhill an experience their children will treasure for many years!  Our PTO provides many enriching events for students, such as the Cultural Arts Committee, Grandparents' Day, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son dance and many more.  We demonstrate our appreciation of the staff through our monthly Faculty & Staff Appreciation Committee.

In order to support these programs, the PTO holds many fundraising events during the year to support our annual PTO Adopt-A-Cause program.  Each year, the fundraising proceeds fulfill a special need of the school or to purchase curriculum-based items which will enhance the educational experience at Oakhill.

Most importantly, the PTO helps create the wonderful community that is Oakhill while enabling parents to participate in their child's school experience.  Through this process we are able to form bonds with one another and our school.  We are proud of our parent and teacher volunteers and the level of commitment they give to the school and students.  If you volunteer, thank you.  If you would like to become involved, we welcome you.  Please join us.
