As Auxiliary Coordinator and Early Childhood Specialist, Kathryn Dodson knows how to approach each day with a smile on her face and a sense of humor. Her silly faces and funny voices put her students at ease and have them saying, "You're silly, Mrs. Dodson!"
A native of Marshfield, Missouri, Kathryn earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Chemistry from William Jewel College. Kathryn has always enjoyed working with children, helping them learn by giving them the keys to unlock the world around them. Kathryn spent many years homeschooling her daughter and substitute teaching in various Northland schools, including Oakhill.
Kathryn enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, and border collie, Mariah. Given the chance to relax, Kathryn can be found watching NCIS and reading a good book. Of course, cheesecake is always a plus!
"I love Oakhill's atmosphere. From the first time my family walked in to check out the classrooms, I knew we had found a new home."
