Discover Early Childhood
Serving ages 18-months - five years old
At Oakhill Day School, students thrive while exploring math, science, social studies, and communication arts from a young age. Daily circle time, Physical Education, Innovation Lab, Spanish, and Music further enrich their learning experience and foster social-emotional growth.
Oakhill's Early Childhood students are well-prepared for the future through our balanced and supportive early education, setting them up for lifelong success.
Our Programs
The Oakhill Day School Early Childhood Division is comprised of four distinct programs:
Pretoddler (18 months - 2 years)
Oakhill Day School's Pretoddler Program offers a nurturing environment where our youngest students experience their first taste of independence, learning, and growth.
With dedicated teachers and engaging activities, your child will thrive and develop essential early skills in a supportive setting.
Class size for Pretoddler is 6 students: 1 teacher.
Toddler (2 years - 3 years)
Oakhill Day School's Toddler Program offers a nurturing environment where children develop social-emotional skills and build on their learning through engaging classroom transitions.
With dedicated teachers and enriching activities, your child will thrive and grow in a supportive setting.
Class size for Toddler is 8 students: 1 teacher.
Preschool (3 years - 4 years)
At Oakhill Day School's Preschool Program, our teachers build strong, personalized relationships with each student, allowing them to tailor learning experiences to the child's readiness and interests.
By fostering these connections, our educators help children develop essential pre-reading skills and explore more advanced math concepts, ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for growth.
Class size for Preschool is 9 students: 1 teacher.
Prekindergarten (4 years - 5 years)
At Oakhill Day School's Prekindergarten Program, our teachers build strong, personalized relationships with each student, preparing them in both social-emotional skills and academics to provide a strong foundation for kindergarten.
By further developing pre-reading skills and exploring advanced math concepts, our educators ensure students are ready for the years to come in Lower School, within a supportive and enriching environment.
Class size for Prekindergarten is 9 students: 1 teacher.
There is something special about being a child's first school experience. There is so much learning that happens at that age, from speech development to potty training, we get to help those students grow into lifelong learners.
