Prospective Students
Awards are based on the student’s individual Oakhill assessment scores taken with Oakhill's Admissions Office during the admissions process, the character of the student, and the representation of Oakhill’s Lifeskills.
Prospective students will also submit a short essay and need a personal letter of recommendation from someone they are not related to (examples include but are not limited to: Priest/Pastor, Family Friend, Oakhill Alum, Coach, Community Leader, etc.).
Each student will need to write a short essay (150 words or less). You can choose from the following topics:
- How do you see yourself making a difference at Oakhill?
- What Oakhill lifeskill(s) do I best display and why?
Students are to hand write their essay and submit via email or hard copy to the Admissions Office.
Please note that potential scholarships will not be awarded until a student is through the admissions process and accepted for the coming school year. Essays are due to Admissions within 30 days of a notification of a students' admissions acceptance.
*Current families should contact the Admissions Office for information about how to apply.
