My family has been a part of the Oakhill community for a long time. The instruction, love, and care received during our time at ODS have been phenomenal, and we model our children's experiences beyond Oakhill against them. Thank you, Oakhill, for welcoming us. You are as much a part of our family as we are of yours.

Amy, our daughter, was elected Editor-in-Chief of the International Relations Journal at Boston University. This publication is distributed in the library of Congress and is one of the most consulted journals. This is due to, among other things, the strong foundation that she received at Oakhill. We are very thankful for the education she received and feel so very proud of her.

I have been an educator for sixteen years and am so proud that I spent those years at Oakhill Day School. Oakhill has been in Northland for 71 years, founded on the belief that early education is the key to academic and social success, a principle that still guides us today. These ideals are still in place, and the school is a thriving community for Pre-Toddlers through Eighth grade.

At Oakhill, the children who grace our halls are not just students to us. We believe that nurturing student-teacher relationships gives children more opportunities to flourish. Our Life Skills program, a cornerstone of our school, instills the seeds for personal growth, setting children on a path to becoming their best selves. Through a hands-on curriculum created by the teachers, our students are excited to learn and see what challenges the day has in store for them. Meeting each child where they are socially and academically is a part of the Oakhill education.

Not only do relationships with the children set Oakhill apart, but that relationship extends to our parents. The collaboration between teachers and parents ensures that we are all on the same path, working toward a unified goal of helping each child grow to their full potential. Parental involvement benefits the school as parents embrace the opportunity to give back to Oakhill in various avenues.
