MESSAGE FROM THE ALUMNI COORDINATOR

Let Me Introduce Myself...

Oakhill Alumni,

I want to introduce myself to all of you. I joined Oakhill Day School as the Donor Relations Coordinator a few weeks ago. In this role, I will be the liaison for Oakhill's alumni relations. I am excited for the opportunity to meet and connect with all of you…and excited to share some new and exciting opportunities. If you ever visit the campus, please stop in the Development office (across from the main office in room 8) and say hello!

I look forward to meeting you all and picking up where Claudia left off!

I also wanted to provide a little personal and professional background information that led me to Oakhill. I graduated college from Northwest Missouri State University with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations. From Northwest, I went on to attend Missouri State University to get my graduate degree in Communications. I spent 13 years at my first job, VML. VML is a digital marketing agency located in Kansas City. While there, I worked with clients such as Colgate-Palmolive, Bear Naked, Kashi, and Hill's Pet Nutrition to help grow their branding and reach. I then went on to work in an administrative role in the Park Hill School District for two years. My husband and I live in Parkville with our two daughters, Joslyn (8) and Ellison (6). In our free time, we love to travel, go to the lake and support our girls in their activities, including swimming, soccer, dance, golf, and basketball.

The Donor Relations position at Oakhill merged the two previous roles I had – marketing/communications and education, thus presenting a very inviting role. I am excited to be here and would love to stay connected with all of you on where life takes you after graduating from Oakhill.

As you make life decisions on where to attend college, make strides in your extra-curricular activities, and travel through life's adventures, please keep me in mind. Shoot me an e-mail or text when you have any news we can share. You can always reach me at:

I hope to see you at the Oakhill carnival event this Friday. If you are interested in volunteering, please let me know. We would love to have our Oakhill alumni support at this wonderful event!

Warm regards,
