Our Message to You...
It's Graduation Day!
Celebrate all you've achieved.
This year's accomplishments,
are more than believed.
Mrs. G gave Sam and I speeches from past graduations to inspire us. And I kept reading through them thinking, that was a great group of 8th graders. However, I kept circling back to one thought. Which was... they aren't as great as you guys.

First day of Kindergarten,
full of nerves and unrest.
Through the last days, you proved,
you were up to the test.
Starting eighth-grade year,
you were babies no more.
until you walked out our doors.
Not only did we have friends that helped us to be successful at Oakhill. We had parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and coaches that made us want to work harder, reach for excellence and run faster. Thank you all for coming tonight and being part of our "friend" group that we don't want to let down.
- Sam Brown - Class of 2019 Graduation Speaker
You made so many friends along the way.
Who were there through work,
and there through play.
Everything led up to this day.
Remember, there is always a place
that you can call home;
when you enter the lower grades,
or the unfamiliar - high school space.
It's sad to say that time has flown fast
and now we must say goodbye.
Maybe until next year, perhaps just until?
But this is our message to you.
Oakhill will never forget you!
