Although the Building is Closed... School is in Session!
Oakhill Day School is taking all precautions to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety and well-being of our community (and the greater local and regional community) is our top priority.
Starting Monday, March 23, Oakhill will conduct all classes virtually and all Admissions tours will also be held virtually, Monday-Friday, until we return to campus tentatively on Monday, April 27. Please contact Dorothy Beckham, Director of Admissions and Financial Assistance with questions about enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year.
Please complete this form prior to your scheduled virtual tour:
Updates are being provided to the Oakhill community via our Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates Webpage. We plan to add all updates to this page so that all information is in one centralized location.
Can I schedule a tour?
Tours are offered most Mondays through Fridays from 9 am and 2 pm, dependent on availability, and typically take about an hour. While we can generally accommodate walk-ins, we recommended that you call the Admissions Office to schedule an appointment, ensuring that we are able to provide the necessary time with your family. Contact the Admissions Office at 816-436-6228 or via email.
Where do I go for a tour?
When coming for a tour for prospective students entering 18 months through 3rd Grade, you would join us at our Main Campus location at 7019 N Cherry Street. You will enter through the double doors under the teal awning towards the north end of the building. There are parking spots to the west of the building and on the street.
When coming for a tour for prospective students entering 4th-8th Grade, you would join us at our South Campus location at 6910 N Holmes Street. You will enter through the double doors under the large teal awning towards the north end of the building. Parking is available in our lot directly to the west and south of the doors.
Does Oakhill offer before or after school care?
Oakhill offers Kids' Club each morning starting at 6:45 am and again after school until 6 pm. Students love hanging with other Panthers in this fun environment! Students are placed with their peers and participate in age-appropriate activities. After school classes and clubs, as well as athletics, are also available for students.
Is Financial Assistance available?
Making sure we have the right families at Oakhill if important to us and our mission! A portion of our annual budget is allocated for financial aid to help bridge the gap between tuition and a family’s affordability. Please visit our Tuition and Assistance page for more information. Oakhill makes all admission decisions without regard to assistance.
