Our Admissions Department theme this whole year has been "Fall in Love". During the Valentine's Day season, we are all reminded of the many ways to show and share our love and appreciation... for our spouse or partner, our kids, our parents, our favorite sports team... and our favorite school!
This year, Valentine's Day falls during Oakhill's Spirit Week and on Team Jersey Day! We encourage you to wear your favorite team colors or spirit wear that day to help celebrate.
On February 14th, immediately following our Early Childhood Parties, your Admissions Department will be hosting an informal Q&A event in the Main Campus Commons with Suzanne McCanles, Oakhill's Head of School, and Becky DiGerlamo, Oakhill's Development Director. This event will start at approximately 9:45am and end by 10:30am. Come with questions you might have about an independent education, why fundraising is part of the culture, and more! Things to expect that morning are conversations about:
- The importance of and differences from receiving an Independent School education
- Quick future planning for Oakhill
- What's this Annual Fund and Capital Campaign I keep hearing about
- Gifts that keep on giving through planned giving
- Gifts of your time and talents through volunteering
Parents in attendance will be entered into a drawing for a Spirit Shop gift card!
Follow the pink and red Panther pawprints down the hall for your chance to Fall in Love again with Oakhill!
We look forward to seeing you on February 14th at 9:45am! Any family is welcome - not just Early Childhood. For more information and/or questions, contact Dorothy Beckham in the Admissions Office.
