Child Passenger Safety Week at Oakhill
Oakhill is participating in this year's Child Passenger Safety Week, September 15-21! We plan to provide opportunities throughout the week for our families and staff to learn more about keeping our children safe while riding in the car. There are even a couple of special events scheduled!
Schedule of Events:
Tuesday, September 17 | 12 - 12:30 PM | Facebook
Join us LIVE on Facebook at noon for a conversation and Q&A on car seat safety! Oakhill parent and car seat safety advocate, Cara Rolofson, will join Mrs. McCanles for this lunchtime session. We encourage you to send in questions via Facebook Direct Message or here in the days leading up to the broadcast so that we can cater to your specific requests.
Can't be present for the live event? That's okay, we will post the entire session online for review at a later time.
Wednesday, September 18 | After School | Oakhill Day School Main & South Campus
The Oakhill Car Line crews at both campus buildings will be joined by the Gladstone Fire Department who will be handing out information on car seat safety.
Wednesday, September 18 | 3 - 5 PM | Oakhill Day School Main & South Campus
Have you always wanted to have your car seat checked? Maybe you have questions about your child transitioning from a car seat to a booster? Swing through our Car Seat check station after car line to have all of your questions answered and to get your car seat, or booster seat checked out by a car seat technician.
To expedite the process, the Gladstone Fire Department suggests that you have your vehicle and car seat manuals as well as your child's height, weight, and age stats on hand.
Thank you to Mrs. Rolofson for helping us organize our Child Passenger Safety Week activities!
