Although the Building is Closed... School is in Session!
Oakhill Day School is taking all precautions to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety and well-being of our community (and the greater local and regional community) is our top priority.
Starting Monday, March 23, Oakhill will conduct all classes virtually and all Admissions tours will also be held virtually, Monday-Friday, until we return to campus tentatively on Monday, April 27. Please contact Dorothy Beckham, Director of Admissions and Financial Assistance with questions about enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year.
Please complete this form prior to your scheduled virtual tour:
Updates are being provided to the Oakhill community via our Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates Webpage. We plan to add all updates to this page so that all information is in one centralized location.
How is Distance Learning Going?
We are hitting it out of the park in Early Childhood and Lower School with Distance Learning! The teachers and students were so excited to see each other online! The newness of learning a different way and the excitement of communicating through Seesaw is something we will always remember. The faculty is making sure that their students feel loved and cared for through their videos and the activities they have specially designed.
Academically, the lessons picked up where the children left off and will continue to follow the Oakhill curriculum. The teachers have done a fantastic job of organizing their classrooms online, doing demonstrations, providing resources and detailed lessons to help your family with online learning. Please feel free to adapt this learning experience to fit your family's schedule.
We hope your family is enjoying spending extra time together and is having fun trying some of your teacher's activities. Please do not feel like you have to run out to the store to get supplies for any of the lessons. Be creative and use what you have at home, that's part of the fun of it!
At Oakhill, we are proud to stick together as a family. Please reach out if your family has any particular needs.
For Technical questions about Distance Learning, please contact Lacey Meier.

So excited for the creative learning going on during our newly designed 4th quarter and hope to see you back in the classroom really soon!
