Community Partnerships

The Community Partnership program at Oakhill is a collaboration between local business entities and Oakhill where the business provides the school with necessary resources in the form of monetary contributions, sponsorship, time through volunteerism, and goods to help maintain school facilities and curricular programming and materials that benefit each one of Oakhill's students. The program began over 5 years ago and continues to grow in the number of partners each year!

Oakhill's Community Partner support comes from all over the greater Kansas City area and is vital in helping Oakhill maintain the healthy budget needed to support school programming.

Thank you to our current Community Partners and to those businesses who are not yet partners but are interested in learning more about how your business can make an impact.

Partnership Program FAQ's

What is a Community Partner?

The Community Partnership program at Oakhill is a collaboration between local business entities and Oakhill where the business provides the school with necessary resources in the form of monetary contributions, sponsorship, time through volunteerism, and goods to help maintain school facilities and curricular programming and materials that benefit each one of Oakhill's students. In exchange, our Community Partners gain access to our community through exposure in school publications, the website, and during school events.

Where do we find our Community Partners?

Our Community Partners support us from all over the greater Kansas City area.

How is a Community Partner different than an Annual Fund or Capital Campaign Donor?

Whereas an Annual Fund or Capital Campaign Donor typically gives an outright donation, a Community Partner signs a letter of commitment and receives something in exchange for their contribution. Typically Community Partners utilize their marketing budget when deciding on what level to enter into the Partnership program. A business can support Oakhill by being both a Community Partner and an Annual Fund/Capital Campaign Donor!

How can I become a Community Partner?

We welcome any Oakhill family or community member who owns a business or thinks their place of employment is a great fit for our Community Partnership program, to consider reaching out in regards to becoming a partner. All referrals are welcome!

Partnership plans are flexible and can be customized to fit various budgets and desired levels of engagement.

Thank You Community Partners!
