Student Life
Oakhill student life extends beyond the classroom and the regular school day. Our students love to show their Panther Pride and are the greatest representation of "Only at Oakhill." In addition to academic club offerings, Oakhill is before and after school activities, a farm to school lunch program, a full service spirit shop, and experiential learning trips throughout the regular school year. Oakhill students become well-rounded students of the world!
Kids' Club
Kids' Club 2024-2025
Kids' Club is more than just childcare; it's an extension of the Oakhill family, where we foster personal growth, encourage creativity, and promote social development in a fun-filled atmosphere. Our passionate team of experienced and caring staff members ensures that every child receives individual attention beyond the school day, encouraging a sense of belonging and building lasting friendships.
Key Highlights of Kids' Club:
Separate Spaces: Kids' Club is divided into four main groups: Pretoddler & Toddler, Preschool & Prekindergarten, Kindergarten-3rd grade, and 4th-8th grade.
Convenient Operating Hours: Recognizing the demands of busy schedules, Kids' Club opens at 7:15 am, providing ample time for you to drop off your children before work. We remain available until 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm, accommodating after-work commitments.
Safe and Supervised Environment: Your child's safety is our number one priority. Kids' Club operates and adhere to strict safety protocols, and is supervised by Oakhill staff who prioritize your child's well-being.
Enriching Activities: Kids' Club offers a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, educational projects, and imaginative play. We balance relaxation and stimulation to keep your child engaged and happy.
Afternoon Snacks: We understand the importance of nourishment. Our Kids' Club program offers daily afternoon snacks to all Pretoddler- 3rd grade students, while our 4th-8th grade students have access to the South Building fruit cart.
We invite you to join us in embracing this valuable extension of the Oakhill experience.
Register your child for Kids' Club, and rest assured they will receive the best care and attention during their time with us.
We look forward to a fantastic year ahead, full of learning, growth, and memorable experiences for your children.
Sincerely,

Farm 2 School Lunch
Farm 2 School Healthy Lunch Program
Having a complete wellness plan for our students is a unique attribute that Oakhill Day School is proud to offer its families. Wellness at Oakhill encompasses fitness (Physical Education 5 days a week), nutrition education (cooking classes, label reading, and connections with farmers), gardening, food allergy training for staff, and a general knowledge of the food our students eat during the school day.
Why choose Oakhill Food and Beverage Lunch Service?
Selection
Price and picky eaters can keep a family from choosing to purchase school provided hot lunches. By conducting an annual family survey, we plan to incorporate the foods that our students love on the menu. There will not be a day where there is “nothing to eat” for your child.
Value
Our goal is to offer our families maximum value. Students will be fed enough to stay full through the afternoon, also enough to keep their minds sharp through the end of the day.
Convenience
We realize our families are busy. The new food service plan at Oakhill will remove the evening and morning lunch prep sessions from your schedules, giving important quality time back to your family.
Meet the Lunch Staff
The mission of the Oakhill Day School Food Program is to nourish and educate students with food prepared on site, from scratch, with care. By using a variety of locally sourced foods, students will learn the benefits of eating healthy, living sustainably, and will understand what they put into their bodies directly affects their quality of life, in and out of the classroom.
