The 2026-2027 school year is fully in motion! As we approach September, it's time to share a little about AM morning clubs that will be taking place again this year. Starting September 3rd, we will begin hosting a rotation of morning clubs each Thursday morning that promote creativity and hands-on learning. These clubs are designed specifically for our Kindergarten through 3rd-grade students. There is no sign-up required, and every single club is free of charge. 

Morning Club Schedule

Our clubs will meet every Thursday morning from 7:30 to 8:00 AM starting September 3rd. To make morning drop-offs as seamless as possible for your family, students can be dropped off during the normal morning Kids Club car line from 7:15 to 7:30 AM at the third-grade doors (just past the gym).

We have a rotating schedule that offers something unique every week of the month. Please refer to the all-school calendar to see the week each club is offered. 

• First Thursday (Sept. 3rd): Science Wizards

  • Location: Main Building Science Lab

  • The Experience: Students will join Mrs. Thompson to explore the magic of science. Through fun, hands-on experiments, they will embark on a journey of discovery to reveal the wonders of the universe! Expect plenty of things that snap, crackle, and pop!

• Second Thursday: Math Mania

  • Location: Mrs. Schmidt’s 3rd-grade classroom

  • The Experience: Mrs. Schmidt is ready to make numbers come alive! This club is perfect for students who love puzzles, games, and patterns. It’s a highly interactive environment where problem-solving becomes a fun, collaborative game.

• Third Thursday: Mission Stempossible

  • Location: Main Building Library

  • The Experience: Led by Mrs. Verwers, students will unleash their inner engineers. Every month features exciting team projects and design challenges that explore how STEM shapes our world—and how our students can shape the future!

• Fourth Thursday: Page Turners Club

  • Location: Mrs. Compton’s 2nd-grade classroom

  • The Experience: For our young readers and bookworms, Mrs. Compton will lead exciting literary adventures. Students will dive deep into wonderful stories, exploring vibrant characters and exciting plots while discovering the true joy of reading.

I highly encourage you to look at your calendar and chat with your child about which Thursdays they might want to be a part of ... Maybe all of them! It’s a great way to kickstart their day with curiosity and a smile!
