☀️ Summer 2025 at Oakhill: Adventure, Learning & Memories Await!

Oakhill Day School's Fully Charged Summer Camp and Summer Tutoring programs—designed to engage, challenge, and excite students from 2 years old through 8th grade (camp) and Prekindergarten–12 (tutoring)—are in full swing! Whether you're after adventure or academic enrichment (or both!), there’s something perfect for you this summer.

Summer Campers at Pool

🔋 Fully Charged Summer Camp

  • Dates & Hours: June 2–August 1 (closed July 4th week); regular hours 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, extended care 7:30 AM–5:00 PM with Kids’ Club 

  • Fees:
    • Toddler–Kindergarten: $365/week (standard), $465/week (extended)
    • Grades 1–8: $335/week (standard), $415/week (extended)
    • One-day drop-in: $90/day (standard), $95 on field-trip days
    • One-time registration fee: $35

  • Add-ons: Lunch $7/day, Kids’ Club $12 morning / $16 afternoon, Swimming lessons $150/session 

  • Activities: Weekly field trips for all campers (e.g., museums, trampoline parks, water parks), top-tier Thursday outings for grades 4–8 (e.g., lake inflatables, stadium tours)

  • Location & Extras: Based in Gladstone, MO—just 15 minutes from downtown KC—with camp party bus, pool access, and highly qualified staff

📚 Summer Tutoring Program

  • Sessions:
    • Session 1: June 2–27 (closed June 30–July 4)
    • Session 2: July 7–31

  • 1:1 Tutoring Rates: $30–$115 per lesson, depending on subject and duration (30–60 min) 

  • Small-Group Tutoring: $180–$550 per month (2–6 students) 

  • Extras:
    • Orton-Gillingham literacy therapy - Language Therapy with Orton-Gillingham is an evidence-based approach designed to support students struggling with reading, writing, and other language-related challenges. While Orton-Gillingham is often used with dyslexic students, it is beneficial for all students who face difficulties in these areas.
    • Specialized small-group sessions
  • Flexibility: Pick tutoring only, join camp only—or do both! Oakhill can coordinate schedules so your child transitions seamlessly
