We need YOU!

Your Admissions Office is excited to again welcome back Faces and our Cultures to Oakhill from Guatamala. These young participants spend nearly two months living with a host family while attending classes and participating in extracurricular activities at Oakhill. The program has led to wonderful friendships and has provided all Oakhill students and our Guatemalan guests' with valuable cultural experiences.

In order to participate in the Faces Program, Guatemalan students apply to be Cultural Ambassadors of their country and are carefully selected by the Faces & Our Cultures Team. They go through a preparation process during the year and also prepare cultural projects to share with their host family and school.

We are currently looking for 2-3 families who are ready to host this fall!

This fall, our young cultural ambassadors will arrive mid-October, stay with their Oakhill host families and join our school community for the following 8 weeks, departing for home in early December. Students that come to Oakhill are middle school-aged but any family is welcome to host a student! 

We know it seems like MONTHS away but let us know now if you are interested in participating in this life-enriching experience this fall! We work with FACES to get our families paired up with the best students before the green light day to meet them virtually in late August/early September!
