Animals in Spanish

Animals in Spanish

Spanish class loves to tie in to what each level is studying in their classroom!  Pre-K is learning about zoo animals and we learned some of their names in Spanish!  We watched a video and compared their Spanish names to their English ones. Some are very similar, like “leon” and lion, or “tigre” and tiger. Others are completely different, like “nutria” and otter, or “pez” and fish.  Then we drew a picture of our favorite zoo animal with as many details we could remember about them. Animals are always a fun way to learn!
