Early Childhood Music at Oakhill

Barb Ely has been teaching at Oakhill for 26 years. She has taught Music
for Pretoddler, Toddler, Preschool, Prekindergarten, Kindergarten,
6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade. She has been a TA, an Early
Childhood PE Teacher, and she has also taught and is currently
teaching Private Lessons after school, including piano, guitar and
ukulele lessons.

This year, Ms. Ely is teaching Early Childhood Music classes
(Pretoddler, Toddler, Preschool). Her students are so excited to
learn about Music! She is introducing instruments, including
Xylophones, Shakers, Tambourines, and Triangles, as they are
playing to the beat. Oakhill students love learning new songs, singing and
moving, and performing. Grandparents’ Day is coming up soon
and all of our students have been having so much fun learning
their songs for this wonderful event. Our students will be
performing a lot throughout the year!
