Do you want to explore the magic of science, see numbers come alive, use your engineering skills, or dive into a great book? Then you will want to join us on Thursday mornings at Oakhill Lower School's free academic clubs! These exciting clubs meet from 7:30-8:00 a.m. on Thursday mornings in the Main Building starting in September and are open to students in kindergarten to third grade.
Students may be dropped off during morning Kids' Club carline from 7:15-7:30 at the third grade doors.
Science Wizards- First Thursday
Location: Lower School Science Lab
Come and explore the magic of science with Mrs. Thompson. There will be fun experiments that lead to a journey of discovery. Join us as we reveal the wonders of the universe and hopefully see some things snap, crackle and pop!
Math Mania- Second Thursday
Location- Mrs. Schmidt’s classroom.
Come join Mrs. Schmidt in Math Mania, where numbers come alive. You will dive into the world of patterns, numbers and problem solving. Don’t miss this event if you like hands-on activities, puzzles and games.
Mission Stempossible -Third Thursday
Location- Lower School Library
Come be inspired with Mrs. Verwers and unleash your engineering skills every month. Through fun experiments, exciting challenges, and team projects, we’ll explore how STEM shapes the world around us-and how we can shape the future!
Page Turners Club- Fourth Thursday
Location- Mrs. Compton’s room
As a reader, you will embark on literary adventures with Mrs. Compton. This club will dive into the world of books as you explore different characters and exciting plots. Come discover the joy of reading!
