Primary Colors in Spanish

¡Hola, familias!

We are having so much fun in Spanish class bringing colors to life! Learning new words at this age is all about play, so our Pretoddlers have been diving into color vocabulary through high-energy games, movement, and hands-on fun.

For these youngest students, we focus on the primary colors:  rojo (red), azul (blue), and amarillo (yellow). We use fun games where we can pair movement to the color words, which helps them anchor them in their brains. As they become more vocal, they will love being the first to shout out the color word and get to hold the pokey ball of that color!
