Afternoon Adventures

Afternoon Adventures are any organized classes after school that aren't athletics. It could be Outdoor Adventures, to Robotics, to Tie Dying. The options are endless! We have already had so much fun this year. Each class will be from 4:00-4:45 and it’s $20 for each class. Information for each class will be sent home with your child a few weeks in advance, so be on the lookout!

Upcoming Afternoon Adventures

Kindermusik: December 3rd, 10th, & 17th 

Kindermusik is a small group music class for children from Pre-Toddler to Pre-K. We will sing, dance, play instruments, and do music and movement storytime. The goal is to build confidence, develop gross and fine motor skills, build social and emotional skills, early language and literacy skills, and see musical development. Music is a vital part of us as humans. Incorporating music in our children's lives can help build neural pathways through sensory stimulation, build confidence, encourage creativity, enhance memory, and help with cognitive, language, and behavioral development. The teaching approach is fun and encouraging, with lots of praise and positive reinforcement! 

Make & Take: January 14th, 21st, 28th, & February 4th

Don't want to cook? Perfect, your child can! If you're in kindergarten through 5th grade this Afternoon Adventure is for you. You will make a ravioli casserole, taco soup, dump cake, and eclair cake.Mrs. Thompson will be leading this class and can't wait for you to join her! 

Toy Testers: February 18th, 25th & March 4th, 11th

The Tie Dye Tribe: April 8th, 15th, & 22nd

Every class there will be a new thing you're tie dying! You will learn all of the tips and tricks of tie dying from the professional himself: Mr. T!
