Spring Shadow Days for Current Panthers

Shadow Days

Spring is a great time for all things new... new grass is growing, new flowers are blooming, new birds are chirping, AND it's time for new class exploration!

Some of our Panthers were able to shadow and learn more about the upcoming year and grade level that they are moving to, changing Divisions, and even changing buildings!

Our Prekindergarten students spent some time in the Kindergarten classrooms learning what it is like to be a Kindergartener at Oakhill. They did Math, learned about classroom responsibilities, field trips, Ticket Shop, and everything Kindergarten! Thank you to Mrs. Pearce and Mrs. Forsen for sharing with our Panthers!

Leaving the Main Campus, it's time to head SOUTH for our incoming 4th Graders, but these students said "no problem!" Panthers enrolled for 4th Grade this fall had the opportunity to bring Mom and Dad to learn about the Intermediate Division, meet the teachers and Mrs. Sarver, have some amazing pizza from FLIK, and participate in a scavenger hunt! Thank you to Mrs. Sarver, Mrs. Compton, and Mrs. Clemis for sharing 4th Grade with us!

Amaya, in 6th Grade, shared, "I like switching teachers and classes in Middle School because I can have a different feel with different people and different learning opportunities." Sixth Grader Gentry encourages "Write things in your planner, check the HUB, and remember your homework" - solid advice for current 5th Graders as they prepare to transition to Middle School! These students had the opportunity to see what they knew about Middle School at Oakhill. They knew some stuff but learned even more! Thank you to Mrs. Sarver and 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher Ms. Jackson for organizing all the learning (and fun) for these students to discover more about Middle School at Oakhill!

We are excited about finishing the next few weeks strong here at Oakhill, and our Panthers CANNOT WAIT to start the 25-26 School Year in their new classes!
