We are incredibly proud of our cross-country athletes for their championship-level effort, outstanding performances, and winning mindsets throughout this season. We saw tremendous growth this year in a variety of areas including having 18 personal goals met this year, 21 sportsmanship goals met this season, and 40 new personal bests or fastest times ever ran for an athlete. We also saw success in the traditional sense with 14 top 10 individual finishes this year and ranking in the top 3 as a team 3 different times. We took 2nd place with our 3rd-4th grade girls at the PLKC 1st meet and at the PLKC 2nd meet. The 3rd-4th grade girls also took 3rd place as a team at the PLKC City Championship Meet. Elliot Ross took 3rd place and Hudson took 5th at the City Championships. We had 11 runners qualify for the border show down bonus race earning them the opportunity to race against the top runners in their division from Kansas. We are incredibly proud of our athletes for their championship-level effort, outstanding performances, and winning mindsets throughout the season. Their hard work, dedication, and growth have been truly inspiring.
