This year marked an exciting milestone for Oakhill Athletics as we introduced our first-ever 5th-grade volleyball team, a testament to the sport’s growing popularity within our school community. Despite being new to the game, the team made impressive strides throughout the season, steadily improving their skills and teamwork. Most players were learning volleyball from the ground up, yet by the end of the season, they were already working towards mastering serves, getting most of them in bounds, an achievement that highlights their determination and growth. The 5th-grade team not only gained valuable experience but also qualified for post-season play, narrowly missing a chance to advance to the second round. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Morgan and Coach Diven for their leadership, time, and expertise. Their guidance was instrumental in making this season a memorable one, helping our athletes grow not only as volleyball players but also as individuals. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication during their inaugural season!
