Full STEAM Ahead
This spring, Oakhill is fully embracing a season of growth. We are excited to announce the next expansion phase in the South Building to accommodate our growing Middle School. Slated for the 2026-27 school year, this renovation transforms the second floor into a dynamic, future-ready learning hub.
The centerpiece is a new, open-concept STEAM space. Here, students will be able to explore all sorts of innovative technology and create a space to amplify their learning experience here at Oakhill. Supported by a grant from Inventionland Education, this area is designed for hands-on collaboration and creative problem-solving. The expansion also creates a dedicated home for the Learning Lab, allowing Mrs. Delaney Dowd and Student Support Services to better serve students needing both extra support and advanced challenges.
True to Oakhill’s mission, student voices are leading the way. Student in STUCO, NJHS, and our Ambassadors have toured space and will be involved in the process of naming the space. In addition to that, the students will be involved in helping decide what will be featured in the space, ensuring this new space feels truly their own. We can’t wait to see this vision come to life!
