We feel nice! Like sugar and pumpkin spice...
Because we're searching for pumpkins and squash in the Living Lab! The Middle School Compost Club hid 25 small to medium pumpkins and squash throughout the Living Lab. While the local animals had some thoughts about how long the pumpkins would stay uneaten, several Oakhill classes got outside and got searching!
Mrs. Clark and her Pretoddler class explored the Living Lab and Elizabeth's garden...
...and found one of the pumpkins hiding by the sign!
On another day, Mrs. McConkey's Prekindergarten class found one of the pumpkins on the shed!
Students from the South Building got into the search, too! Ms. Jackson's 6th graders found some of the hidden squash, and also enjoyed mustaches made by nature!
This is the second year the Compost Club has set up the pumpkin scavenger hunt, and it is becoming a wonderful tradition!
