As the first day of Hanukkah begins, we share the joy of this holiday. During our Panther Party Assembly, we had the pleasure of enjoying a special reading of Hanukkah Bear by Mrs. Verwers, which beautifully captured the spirit of the season.
We are also grateful to have had Haley Haar and Michele Cole, members of our Oakhill family, join us in celebrating the upcoming Jewish holiday. Their contributions allowed the students to learn more about Hanukkah and its traditions, enriching our understanding of this celebration.
At Oakhill, we truly cherish when our families take time out of their busy schedules to share their traditions and experiences with us. It’s one of the many ways our community continues to grow, learn, and thrive together. As we enter this season of light, we wish all who celebrate Hanukkah a joyful and meaningful holiday filled with warmth, family, and reflection.
