Leading the Way: Introducing our 2024-2025 Mighty Oak Fund Chairs

When Karen and I were asked to Chair the Mighty Oak Fund, the decision to agree was simple. We believe that the only thing we can leave the next generation that cannot be taken away or lost is an educated mind. This requires us to focus on the things that successfully accomplish creating an educated mind. The first thing is the example we set daily where we consistently reinforce the importance of education and character. The second is to support the institutions where every student can flourish and expand. Oakhill is one of those institutions.

Oakhill does not and cannot exist on good intentions and best wishes. It exists on the tuition, fees and donations of the families and friends of the school. But above and beyond that, it exists in the knowledge of the Oakhill families that for us to be an academically elite school, each of us needs to stretch our appreciation of the role the school plays in our children and grandchildren’s future. That future is a quality mind and a strong character that can never be taken away.

So going forward, our role will be to drive the message of the importance of Oakhill in not only our daily lives but in creating an educated mind. Please join us in committing to the financial security of the place where our future takes shape.
