The Time is Now to… THINK AUCTION VACATION RAFFLE!

Oakhill Day School is excited to announce our annual auction, the Lights, Camera, Oakhill Auction presented by Corner Cafe! fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, 2025! This event is our largest of the year, raising significant funds—between $150,000 and $250,000—to support vital school programs.

This year, our ambitious goal is $305,000, and we need your help to make it happen! We're happy to kick things off on November 1 with the Vacation Raffle.

Raffle Highlights

We’re thrilled to offer incredible prizes that make participating in our auction even more rewarding! Don’t miss your chance to win an unforgettable vacation or $2,500 in cash! Each family will receive five raffle tickets priced at $50 for one or $150 for five. Here’s how you can participate:

• Keep Your Raffle Tickets: By keeping your tickets, you support the auction and enter for a chance to win!
• Sell Your Raffle Tickets: Help make our auction a success by selling your tickets to family, friends, and neighbors. 

Vacation Choices (more details below):

• Belize: 4-night stay at Hopkins Bay Belize, including meals and ground transport.
• Cancun: 4-night all-inclusive at Hyatt Zilara or Hyatt Ziva resorts.
• Jackson Hole: 3-night stay with $1,000 for lift tickets and winter fun.
• Lake Tahoe: 3-night stay at Hyatt Regency, with a $300 gift card for Diamond Peak Ski Resort.

Each trip includes a Winspire concierge service to handle your travel details.

• Golden Ticket Option: For an additional $50, you can purchase a Golden Ticket, which allows you to win both the vacation and cash if your raffle ticket is drawn. Note: Each ticket holder can purchase only one Golden Ticket.

• Teacher’s Treat Ticket: For $50, give an Oakhill teacher the chance to win while earning an extra entry for yourself. Double the impact for just $50!

Weekly Incentives

To encourage ticket sales, we will have exciting incentives each week leading up to the raffle draw:

• Class Class Pizza Party
  Dates: November 1 - November 7
  The class with the most ticket sales will win a pizza party! Remember to notify us if you're keeping your tickets to count them as sold for your class this week.

• Head of School Challenge
  Dates: November 8 - November 14
  If our school reaches $5,000 in ticket sales this week, the Head of School or a teacher of the students' choice will wear a silly costume! Students will vote on the costume!

• VIP Lunch
  Dates: November 15 - November 21
  The top three ticket sellers will win a VIP lunch with the Head of School or their favorite teacher!

• Mystery Prize Box
  Dates: November 22 - November 28
  The top seller this week will get to choose a surprise from the Mystery Prize Box, filled with exciting gifts!

• Final Head of School Challenge
  Dates: November 29 - December 5
  If the school reaches $15,000 in sales by the end of this week, the Head of School will receive a pie in the face during a Panther Party!

Important Dates & Details

• Return Unsold Tickets by December 2, 2024
  All unsold tickets not returned by this date will be billed to your Blackbaud account. To avoid any charges, please return your tickets as soon as possible.

• Ticket Sales End: December 9, 2024

• Raffle Draw Date: December 10, 2024

• Proceeds Benefit: Faculty development, tuition assistance, and scholarships.
