Meet Mrs. Cole - Our New TA in Kindergarten Tuesdays and Thursdays

Meet Mrs. Cole, who joins us this year after a fantastic stint as a substitute teacher at Oakhill! She so excited to experience Scarecrow Day with Kindergarten, and to work and have fun with our amazing kindergarten teachers this year. Please continue to read and welcome Mrs. Cole to our Oakhill community! 

What position did you hold prior to this current position?
Last year I was a substitute teacher at ODS.

What made you interested in this new career opportunity? 
Kindergarten is such a fun year full of growth! The kindergarten teachers are fun to work with! It’s an all around win! :)

What do you hope to bring to this position and/or your students?
I plan to support the students and the teachers this year with positive energy and a willingness to do whatever is needed to help out. 

What excites you about this new position? 
I can’t wait for scarecrow day!

What led you to education? 
I love working with students and I love problem solving! 

What is your favorite memory of school from when you were a child?
I loved school musicals. I remember singing in front of my family and with all my friends. It always felt so special to perform together. 

How did you get ready/prepare for your first day of school at Oakhill Day School?
I made sure to go to bed on time and have a nutritious breakfast ready!
