Meet Mrs. Wheeler- Our new TA in Mrs. Hagan's Classroom

We are excited to introduce you to one of our new Teaching Assistants, Mrs. Wheeler. She is working in one of our Toddler rooms with Mrs. Hagan. With her positive attitude and previous work experience working with children we are excited to bring a knowledgable and kind assistance into our Early Childhood Division. 

What position did you hold prior to this current position?

I was a floater at a daycare in Stilwell Kansas!

What made you interested in this new career opportunity?

I was looking for new opportunities!

What do you hope to bring to this position and/or your students?

I hope to bring positivity and fun to this position!

What excites you about this new position?

I am excited to help the children learn new things and I am excited to meet all of the amazing people at Oakhill Day School!

What led you to education?

I have always wanted to be a teacher. My Bachelor's Degree is mostly in Elementary Education.

What is your favorite memory of school from when you were a child?

My favorite memory of school as a child was riding the scooters in PE.

How did you get ready/prepare for your first day of school at Oakhill Day School?

I picked out my best outfit and did positive affirmations in the mirror!
