Meet Mrs. Ziegler- Our new Kindergarten TA for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

With her love for the spontaneity and joy of working with kids, Mrs. Ziegler can’t wait to help our students grow and thrive! She hopes to provide an extra trusted adult to listen, guide, and support students in all aspects of the day. What made you interested in this new career opportunity?

Consistent days with a very special group of kindergarteners!

What do you hope to bring to this position and/or your students?

An extra trusted adult to listen, guide, and support students in all aspects of the day.

What excites you about this new position?

Being able to help challenge kindergartners at all different levels and help them grow in their strengths and struggles.

What led you to education?

I’ve always loved working with kids because of their spontaneity, curiosity, and joy. Each day is a new day in schools and that makes it fun!

What is your favorite memory of school from when you were a child?

Field day, field trips, assemblies… all those extra things that made going to school more of an adventure.

How did you get ready/prepare for your first day of school at Oakhill Day School?

Lots of coffee and a new dress!
