Mrs. Clevenger's second graders took action in a project-based learning activity that was centered around National Apple Day. Students created an apple orchard in place of their school playground. Starting on Monday, they brainstormed ideas, created maps, and made drawings throughout the week. By Thursday, they were prepared to build their orchard. Additionally, the students enjoyed eight different apple flavor taste tests during the week.
