Cóme Se Dice "To Turtle" en Español?

Conjugating verbs is a very important, and challenging part of mastering the Spanish language. Unlike English, the Spanish language doesn't require the use of pronouns; instead the verbs themselves change to reflect who is speaking and who is being spoken to or about. When conjugated with pronouns the 'who' is emphasized even further.

This quarter our 7th grade students have spent days upon days learning how to conjugate verbs, which will strengthen their Spanish communication and comprehension abilities. Students were allowed to create their very own 'Spanish verb' using their own (school appropriate) word or phrases. Students had to determine the type of verb and the definition, conjugate it into all of the forms, and create illustrations that supported the conjugations. They did NOT disappoint. In fact, the 8th graders were so impressed they asked to create their own as well! Enjoy a few examples below!
