Future Beethovens, Pharrells, and Billies?

In Mrs. Smith’s music class, 7th grade students have been learning to utilize the Garageband app on their iPads to compose music. Each student composed a ringtone as a precursor to their current project, a music album.

Students have enjoyed the opportunity to be creative and let their musical ear shine during this unit. Some students have gone above and beyond on their music album by implementing the use of midi devices from home to create even more sounds than Garageband offers.

The musical genius of students will be presented at the Fine Arts Showcase in April where parents can access all of the music albums created. Who knows, you might just have a famous musical artist on your hands!
