MAS Mentor & Task Tackler

Dear Oakhill Families,

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for our students to make a meaningful impact through our Task Tacklers and MAS Mentors programs! These initiatives are designed to foster leadership, build responsibility, and encourage students to give back to their school community.

By participating, students will not only grow personally but also earn valuable service hours—all starting this winter, January 2025!

Task Tacklers

Task Tacklers provides students with a supportive role in helping their peers stay on track during homework time.

What You’ll Do:

Assist with maintaining focus and completing homework together.

Check in with peers to ensure progress is being made.

Encourage and motivate peers in a positive, supportive environment.

Important Note: Task Tacklers are not tutors. This role focuses on fostering accountability and providing encouragement, rather than offering academic instruction.

MAS Mentors (Mentorship and Support)

MAS Mentors offers students the chance to help peers through homework assistance and academic tutoring.

What You’ll Do:

Provide peer tutoring and academic support.

Help peers understand concepts and work through challenging assignments.

Build connections and foster a collaborative learning environment.
